Sopley Mill photo shoot…

This Autumn shoot at Sopley Mill was a real big chance for me to get creative with some alternative colours and textures… If you follow me on social media then you’ll know how often I say I love Autumn, and I do… The textured foliage, moody blooms and vibrancy can only be found this time of year…

I fell in love with this bouquet, using dried pink peppercorns is quite unusual. Each element was grouped together with dried seed heads, pheasant feathers and home grown flowering jasmine… when it came to designing some table centrepieces I wanted to revive the well loved and well used gold fish bowl from the 90s… These fellas have done their time in the wedding world but by filling them with rustic pines cones and natural flowing arrangements I think they look quite good… I can definitely see these creeping back into the scene some time soon!

We met Clair and clicked immediately

We met Clair and just clicked immediately with her. She had prepared ideas based on our description of the wedding and she was one of the few suppliers we met who genuinely tailored her approach as soon as she got the brief.

She is an extremely talented artist

Even after my own wedding over a year ago I still follow Clair on all her social medias... seeing her new work with other brides and feeling like she keeps re-investing herself, nothing is ever alike! She is an extremely talented artist.

An excellent creator of floral masterpieces

Clair instinctively knew what flowers to use based upon my brief... She is calm, relaxed, professional and discrete... An excellent creator of floral masterpieces which brought tears of joy to my eyes.
