Real Weddings & Styled Shoots…

My wedding….

Of Course I made my own wedding flowers…. How does a wedding florist make her mind up…. Well to be honest it kind of came together at the last minute. As you can see I wore a slate coloured dress so for me everything else has to be white…. Delphiniums on mass for sheer indulgence with touches of white bleeding heart and lilac…. Loved it!

 Natasha & Gavin…

The beautiful Cain Manor in Surry was home to this truly stunning rustic winter wedding… My love for foliage was set alight with this one… Beautiful textured foliage’s featured in everything from large floral arrangements, bride and bridesmaids bouquets and foliage table runners, all complimented by soft lilac tones, thistles and dried lavender. The cosy atmosphere created by tea lights and chunky pillar candles was mesmerising!

Jo & Will…

Such a beautiful summers day out at Plush Manor… This very secluded venue is tucked in a little corner of Dorset’s country side… They both loved foliage, peach and pinks were the main colour scheme and succulents were featured everywhere!

Vicky & Jimmy…..

Quintessential Dorset wedding flowers….. The wedding was held at a pretty little church in Stratton near Somerset, followed by a rather glamorous reception at the stunning Summer Lodge in Evershot. a beautiful combination of dried natural elements such as cotton, lavender and dried lotus pods; teamed with gorgeous crimson peonies and scented lilac, cream scented stocks and tuba rose, fluffy white ammi, burgundy astrantia and subtle flecks of delicate yellow daisy. Um, um.

Vineyard bride shoot…

Our stunning young bride, Amy, looked just gorgeous in this Claire Pettibone dress… The whole shoot was based around romance and elegance, embracing the natural surroundings of this very stylish vineyard. White sumptuous flowers with floaty textured greenery combined with powder blue candles and ribbons created the perfect romantic look for this shoot.

Gemma & Jimmy….

I just love these images of Gemma & Jimmy’s wedding…. A truly magical themed wedding of Alice & Wonderland. My creativity was set a light and I just adore her bouquet with its glory of textures, shapes and quirky colour combo!

 Styled shoot, Lulworth Castle…

When it comes to styled wedding shoots Lulworth Castle in Dorset is the venue’s of all venue’s… Those rustic bare bricks & neutral decor lend itself to any styling and colour combinations. This was an early spring shoot so I embraced the seasons textured foliage’s like grevillea, berried ivy, ferns & silver eucalyptus to make this simple foliage arch way. The brides bouquet had pops of peach roses with complimenting trailing ribbons & the aisle decor consisted of chunky pillar candles, tea lights & lanterns on mass for the ultimate romantic glow. Simple jars of flowers of pure white tulips & peach rose where dotted here & there along the aisle nestled amongst a bed of winding foliage. This was taken apart & re-used as the top table styling, the perfect way to make the most to your money!

Mel & Will, High Cliffe beach styled shoot…

The team and I wanted to create the dream tropical beach wedding right here in Dorset…. I think we pulled it off pretty well…. Any of you lovely people getting married at venues near the beach can have shots like these too, providing you don’t mind hitching your trousers up! Soft pastel flowers with textures mimicking what you would find naturally growing by the sea inspired me for this bouquet.

Dorset wedding flowers

Alex & Tim Canford Magna…..

A medley of vibrant country garden flowers set against navy bridesmaids dresses. Purple veronica & hot pink ranunculus combined with scented stocks & stunning pale pink peonies, finished with fluffy white ammi and thialspi.

 Verity & Edward, Lyme Regis…..

An intimate home wedding with stunning views of the sea and Lyme Regis bay, Dorset…. Verity and Edward live in London but came home to Lyme to celebrate their wedding at the family home. Verity’s bouquet was simple yet stunning with ‘misty bubbles’ pink spray rose, daisies, white veronica and scabious. Jam jars adorned the marquee with a pop of blue to embrace the sea.

Autumn wedding at the Old Vicarage in Christchurch… This is such a cute little venue that I just adore working at. The location, grounds and house are just beautiful. The style of the wedding suited the venue so well with rustic tree branches, bold blue and green hydrangeas on mass plus stacks of textured eucalyptus and trailing Ivy… These bouquets are one of my favourites!

Simon & Taylor, styled shoot….

A true out door Dorset wedding….Taylor had daisy’s in her hair, corn in her bouquet and the local village church of Winterbourne just finished that quintessential country garden look.
