Another gorgeous Dorset wedding this weekend at Longthorns farm in the Purbecks…. The farm was surrounded by pockets of woodland and large open fields with roaming lamas and alpacas, the perfect location for a quirky mad hatters tea party wedding… I met Gemma and Jimmy over a year ago at Lulworth Castle wedding fair, her brief was ‘I love Alice & Wonderland’ and this is what we created… Vintage cake stands and china filled with an eclectic tutti fruity combination of flowers. I wanted it to look unusual so I chose lots of textured flowers with striking shapes and features. Each cake stand was sat on a rustic log slice covered in moss. Dried daisies, fern and sprigs of ivy were dotted on the moss re-creating the surrounding forest and fields and traditional garden tea party. These were such good fun to create and set up. I love doing new things and these certainly were very different from the kind of work I normally do. Thank you Gemma and Jimmy for choosing me and having faith that I had your vision in mind. Congrats guys.
She is an extremely talented artist
Even after my own wedding over a year ago I still follow Clair on all her social medias... seeing her new work with other brides and feeling like she keeps re-investing herself, nothing is ever alike! She is an extremely talented artist.
An excellent creator of floral masterpieces
Clair instinctively knew what flowers to use based upon my brief... She is calm, relaxed, professional and discrete... An excellent creator of floral masterpieces which brought tears of joy to my eyes.
We met Clair and clicked immediately
We met Clair and just clicked immediately with her. She had prepared ideas based on our description of the wedding and she was one of the few suppliers we met who genuinely tailored her approach as soon as she got the brief.
